POLICE OPERATION IN NICOSIA - 22 SCOOTERS SEIZED - Filenbews 27/9
As part of the actions to prevent and reduce fatal and serious road collisions, members of the Nicosia Traffic Police (Group G) today carried out a control campaign on roads, where the use of personal mobility devices is not allowed.
The campaign focused on various areas of Nicosia, including Digeni Akrita, Spyrou Kyprianou, Makarios and Nikis avenues.
During the campaign, 36 complaints emerged for offenses provided for in the Personal Mobility Devices Act.
Also, 22 personal mobility devices were confiscated in order to determine the legality of their possession, as well as a motorcycle.
