AGIOS NEOPHYTOS MONASTERY FESTIVAL
Agios Neophytos Monastery, Tala
26, 27 & 28 September
The annual festival will take place on 26, 27 & 28 September.
Traffic disruption is expected to take place due to the volume of visitors to the Monastery over this period of time. The Police usually close off the access road leading from Tala roundabout to the monastery, so it is recommended that an alternative route is found in and out of the village during this period.
JIVE DANCER - MODERN JIVE CLUB OF PAPHOS
Main Church Hall, Chlorakas [between the large carpark and the church]
9, 16, 23 & 30 September - 7pm [note will not operate July and August due to the heat]
€3pp per night for P3A members, €5 for non-members
The Paphos Jivers are a friendly group of Modern Jive dancers who meet at 7pm on Tuesdays at the main Church Hall in Chloraka Village (located between the large car park and the church). Modern jive is a partnered dance which has its roots in Lindy Hop and Salsa, but it is less complicated to learn and can be danced to a greater variety of music.
ORANGE FESTIVAL
Miliou, Pafos district
13 September - from 7pm
Miliou in the Paphos district will honour for another year its most important agricultural product, oranges. Miliou, one of the most beautiful and greenest villages in the province, organizes the 7th Orange Festival again this year.
The Orange Festival will take place on Saturday, September 13 at Agia Paraskevi Square in Milios.
Visitors will have the opportunity to taste fine orange products such as fresh juice, spoon sweets, jam, flower water, liqueur, as well as orange beer, etc.
