MERCURY DROPS TO 39 DEGREES - STRONG WINDS AND ISOLATED RAIN IN THE MOUNTAINS ON THE MENU -Filenews 10/8
Seasonal low pressure affects the area.
Today, the weather will be mostly clear, however in the afternoon there will be locally increased clouds, which may give short isolated rain in the mountains. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and later locally to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to 39 degrees inland, around 32 on the southwest and west coasts, around 35 on the rest of the coasts and 29 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be mainly northwest to north, light and transient locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to 22 degrees inland, around 24 on the south and east coasts, around 23 on the west and north coasts and 20 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the weather will be mostly clear, however in the afternoon hours there will be temporarily increased clouds, which may give isolated rains, in the mountains.
The temperature is not expected to change significantly during the three days to remain slightly above the average climatic values.
