TSADA CHAPEL - NO ACTION YET FROM THE STATE

TSADA CHAPEL - NO ACTION YET FROM THE STATE - Pafos Live 7/7

A private chapel dedicated to Saints Paisios, Porphyrios and Iakovos Tsalikis, which was created with personal effort and expense of a small group of believers, remains without road signs, which makes it difficult for friends, acquaintances and relatives who wish to visit it to access.

The area is located in a ravine, under the highway, on the uphill road of Tsada, and is not visible from the road network. It is pointed out that there are already several other road signs on this road, which makes it possible to place relevant signage for this point as well.

According to the site managers, repeated requests have been submitted to the competent authorities to examine the issue and to be informed about the signage process, without there having been an official response to date.

In the event of an emergency, such as an accident or fire, there may be a delay in the access of ambulances or fire trucks, as the alley leading to the chapel is not easily located by the main road network. It is also pointed out that in some cases the owners and visitors are forced to be on the main road, at the risk of their safety, in order to guide friends, acquaintances and relatives towards the narrow alley that leads to the chapel.

In addition, it is noted that the placement of signage would be a simple but essential facilitation, as the point is not visible from the road network.

A request is addressed to the competent authorities to examine the matter and to be informed about the procedures provided, with the aim of facilitating access and improving the direction to the site.
