The Department of Electronic Communications of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy informs the public that, following the technical arrangements made to the new digital television network for the purpose of facilitating signal reception, citizens are invited to take the following actions in a timely manner – and within the period of parallel transmission of the old and new network – in order to coordinate with the new platform.
It is recalled that the parallel transmission lasts until October 10, 2026.
To check if your TV is compatible with the new technology, you re-tune. If you don't find the channels in HD, it means that your TV is not compatible with the new technology.
If your TV is not compatible, get a suitable set-top box with the CE marking.
If you continue to have a reception problem, check your installation's antenna and wiring.
If required, a direction for technical assistance can be requested through the call center (Hellas Sat, 22000737).
It is noted that:
There is no need to re-tune for those who already receive the new platform badge.
The signal quality of the new platform remains in high definition (HD).
Citizens are once again called upon to take the above necessary actions immediately.
