Seasonal low pressure affects the area.
Today, the weather will be mostly clear, however in the afternoon hours there will be locally increased clouds, mainly in the mountains. Winds will initially be variable light, 3 Beaufort, to gradually become mainly southwest to northwest, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 41 degrees inland, around 35 on the south and east coasts, around 32 on the west and north coasts and 31 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, however locally thin fog or fog and low clouds are expected to form. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest light, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 24 degrees inland and on the coasts and to 21 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the weather will be mostly clear, however in the afternoon hours there will be locally increased clouds, mainly in the mountains.
The temperature until Thursday will gradually rise slightly, to continue to fluctuate above the average climatic values, while on Friday it is expected to drop.
It is noted that the Department of Meteorology issued a new yellow warning for extremely high temperature.
According to the update, the temperature will rise to 41 degrees Celsius inland.
The warning comes into effect from 1.00 p.m. until 4.30 p.m.
