An investigation in relation to a citizen's complaint that there was no response to a call to 112 and the Ambulance Service, is being conducted by OKYPY.

In relation to a post published on Social Media regarding allegations of non-response to a call to 112 and the Ambulance Service, OKYPY has become aware of the incident and has already launched its investigation, in order to determine the sequence of events, the history of the phone calls and the actions that followed.
At the same time, the report of a previous visit to the Accident and Emergency Department is also being investigated, in order to determine whether it concerns a public hospital of OKYPY and, if confirmed, to evaluate the actions carried out in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
OKYPY treats any relevant report with due seriousness and immediately proceeds with the prescribed investigation procedures, with the aim of fully ascertaining the facts and ensuring the quality and safety of the health services provided.
