An important project is being implemented by the community council of Steni.
He builds a bridge that will connect the core of the community, which was divided by the river of Steni that passes directly through the community.
The community leader of Steni, Elias Lampidis, expressed his satisfaction with this project, which, as he said, was planned for many years.
The bureaucracy deprived the community, residents and visitors of this necessary project for exactly 15 years, he said, since it is a basic infrastructure project that will mainly facilitate the elderly residents of the community.
The bridge will cost €860,000 and will connect the core of Steni, giving the opportunity for a circular route around the core and points of interest, such as the church, the museum, the community buildings and the community square.
The river of Steni, which starts from the forest of Paphos, passes through the community and flows into the area of Limni, on the beach of Argaka.
