NEW HOSPITAL FOR POLIS - Pafos Live 25/3
The state has decided to expropriate three pieces of land with a total area of 21,000 square meters, at the entrance of Polis Chrysochous, opposite the Police and Fire Station, for the construction of the new hospital in the area.
The building facilities of the new hospital will cover an area of more than 5,000 square meters and will house modern health infrastructure, capable of meeting the increased needs of the population of the area. The Minister of Health visited the medical center of Kato Pyrgos Tylliria and the hospital of Polis Chrysochous today, completing his cycle of visits to all state hospitals in the country.
The procedures for the construction of a new modern hospital for the Polis Chrysochous apartment are progressing rapidly, assures Mr. Charalambidis. The new facilities are not expected to be completed before 2028 and until then the state will continue to strengthen the Kato Pyrgos medical center and the Polis hospital with the best scientific staff and the appropriate means, Mr. Charalambidis assured.
