The community of Kissonerga has maintained a different record for years, which caused more and more irritation to thousands of people moving from its main avenue to Coral Bay and to the city of Paphos: It was the area with the most speedbumps, a total of 11, on a road just a few hundred meters long.
Now, this situation is different. The Municipality of Akamas, in which Kissonerga joined with the reform of the Local Government, in cooperation with the competent state services, has already started the removal of four bumps on Christou Kkeli Avenue, since after a study carried out by the competent departments it was decided that the specific bumps are unnecessary.
The rest located outside schools in the community and near vertical intersections remain in place, while information from "F" states that the pressures from residents and institutions for an even greater reduction of these obstacles continue, with a parallel proposal for the implementation of alternative measures for traffic safety.
