The Department of Road Transport refers to the Scheme for the Promotion of Electromobility in Cyprus and the sending of preliminary approvals to runners-up for relevant sponsorship categories in an announcement.
As he notes, for the beneficiaries of preliminary approval who have received an email dated 03.02.2026, the period for posting or sending a vehicle order has expired, as provided by the Plan.
Therefore, he adds, for those beneficiaries of preliminary approval that no order has been placed (new vehicles) or an order has not been received (used vehicles) or the required supporting documents have not been received, the preliminary approval has been cancelled and consequently, preliminary approval will be sent to runners-up for sponsorship categories D5, D7, D9, D10.
Specifically, it states that for the above sponsorship categories, the application numbers are listed below, by which preliminary approval will be sent to runners-up for the posting of an order (new vehicles) or sending an order (used vehicles), within the specified deadline that will be specified in the approval message, i.e. for Category D5 the drawn from the draw position 524 to 527, for Category D7 the drawn from the draw position 73 to 75, for Category D9 the drawn from the draw position from 79 to 81 and for Category D10 the drawn application in the draw position 16.
It is pointed out that, depending on the sponsorship category, the supporting documents that must be sent to the Department of Road Transport at tomxorigies@rtd.mcw.gov.cy email address are listed, as well as the time period within which they should be sent.
In addition, it is reminded that, in the event that beneficiaries of preliminary approval do not proceed with its implementation within the specified deadline, preliminary approvals will be sent to the corresponding number of runners-up per category, based on the ranking order from the draw.
