He took the company card and started charging it for fuel, which he used to fill the cars of strangers going to gas stations. The suspect charged the card and at the same time pocketed the money from the citizens, since he was mistaken for an employee of the gas station. This is a 25-year-old employee of a vehicle rental company, who is currently wanted by the Limassol TAE with a court warrant.
According to a complaint made to the Police by the person in charge of the vehicle rental company, during the months of December 2025 and January 2026, the company card was used at gas stations in Limassol and in another district, during hours when the company's offices were closed and no staff was working.
Further investigation followed at the gas stations where the charges were made and through the closed monitoring circuits, a man was recorded approaching private vehicles, filling their tanks with fuel, charging the company card and then collecting cash from the citizens, who considered him an employee of the gas station. As it was established, he is a 25-year-old employee of the vehicle rental company. An arrest warrant was issued against him, and he is wanted.
