ATTENTION - CAT THIEVES ARE ALSO IN PAPHOS - THEY ARE ENTERING THE YARDS OF HOUSES
After the phenomenon of cat theft/kidnapping from Nicosia and other neighbouring areas, it was Paphos' turn.
According to testimonies, two women were spotted in a black double-cab vehicle illegally in the yard of a house trying to put cats from the neighbourhood who were there in cages.
The owners reacted strongly and even called the police, who never showed up.
Those who spot similar incidents are urged to record them and also file a complaint with the Police.
The reason for their act remains unknown, while some of them justify the incident by saying that it is for the purpose of neutering the cats.
Note -if suspicious activity seen, please obtain the registration number and description of the vehicle so the Police can trace the people involved.
