VACANCIES IN THE CYPRUS POLICE - ALL INFORMATION ABOUT APPLICATIONS - WHEN WILL THE WRITTEN EXAMS BE HELD
The Cyprus Police announces that applications are accepted to fill Vacancies for Police Officers.
The written exams will be held on Saturday 25/04/2026 and the candidates will be examined in Mathematics, Greek, English and General Knowledge.
More information regarding the required qualifications, duties and responsibilities of the position, the material of the written examination as well as other information, is provided in the publication of the Official Gazette of the Republic, dated 06/02/2026, on the electronic news website of the www.cypruspolicenews.com Police, as well as in the Recruitment Branch at 22808236/ 22808247.
Candidates can apply, only through the website www.gov.cy in the subject section:
- "Work and Insurance"
- "Employment in the Public Sector"
- "Application for recruitment to the Police"
In order to proceed with the completion of the online application, the applicant must in advance create a profile as a Citizen (Natural Person) in CY Login, which must be identified. Profile identification is done in the following ways:
a) Through electronic banks (eBanking)
b) For people with Cypriot identity, via video call with KEP officers by appointment
c) By personal on-site visit to an Identification Center by appointment

Candidates who already have an identified profile from previous times or for some other reason, should not create a new profile. In case the citizen does not remember his details, there is the mechanism "I forgot the Username", "I forgot the Password".
During the application process, all relevant certificates should be scanned and submitted.
The start of submission of applications is set on Monday 09/02/2026, from 09:00 and expires on Friday 06/03/2026 at 14:00. The application fee is €45 and will be paid through JCC's payment acceptance system, upon completion of the application.
In relation to the written examinations, candidates will be informed by email at a later stage, both about the examination centre in which they will sit and about other useful information.
Candidates who have not been informed in writing by Monday 20/04/2026 about the location of the written examination, are requested to contact the Police Recruitment Branch, at 22808236 and 22808247 numbers.
