Paphos has become the most popular tourist destination for Poles in the last two years, as has been mentioned and written extensively, and this is confirmed during these holiday seasons. The tourist traffic to Paphos may be reduced now, but the Poles continue to go back and forth from various cities of their country to Paphos airport incessantly.
Ryanair's flight schedule from various airports in Poland continues in the winter season, while the airline Wizz Air has now entered the dance of the Paphos-Poland connection in the last month.
As a result, the numbers of Poles choosing Paphos for their holidays continue to be records, with official data showing that even in the year he just left, 49% of Poles arriving in Cyprus chose Paphos.
The air connection between Paphos and Poland is the best in the last 30 years and in 2025 there were up to 20 flights per week from six major Polish airports. These important data are already being used by the Paphos institutions in an effort to form the basis for the further tourism development of the cooperation between the two countries. In this context, tourism agencies of the province, with the assistance of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, are taking actions aimed at informing tour operators about the promotion of Paphos as a year-round tourist destination.
