The province of Larnaca was affected by intense storms in the early hours of Tuesday, with the President of the Larnaca Provincial Self-Government Organization, Angelos Hadjicharalambous, stating that the largest measurement was recorded in Meneou and amounted to 23,4 mm of rain
"In the early hours of Tuesday 23/12/2025, the province of Larnaca was affected by intense storms, with the rainfall in the city of Larnaca having a fairly even distribution, with the range of cumulative rain heights ranging from 16.6 – 23.4 mm of rain, with the largest measurement in Meneou", said Mr. Hadjicharalambous.
The Larnaca District Self-Government Organization has placed 6 stations in the province to record the rainfall, he said.
According to the statistics, said the President of EOAL, "the maximum rapidity recorded reached 5 millimeters per minute both from our station in Meneou and from our station at the tavern Stou Rousia in Larnaca".
It is noted that "the rainfall heights observed correspond to 1/4 and 1/5 of the average rainfall of the month (depending on the region) for the city of Larnaca".

2. Aradippou: 17.8mm rain
3. Larnaca – Kathari area: 17.7 mm of rain
4. Larnaca – Tavern in Roussia: 17.5 mm of rain
5. Larnaca – Kokkines area: 16.7 mm of rain
