Isolated rains are expected today, according to the Meteorological Service.
The temperature will rise to around 24 degrees inland, on the south and east coasts, around 23 on the rest of the coasts and around 15 degrees in the higher mountains.
The barometric low, named ADEL and centered in southern Italy, is expected to move slowly east and the frontal activity that accompanies it will affect the island on Saturday night.

Today, periods of mostly clear weather will alternate with increased cloudiness and isolated rains may occur. Winds will blow northeast to southeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and locally in the west variable, light, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough. Tonight the weather will become mostly clear, although increased high clouds will appear later. Winds will be mainly northwest to northeast, light, 3 Beaufort and transient locally to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain a little rough. The temperature will drop to around 11 degrees inland, around 14 on the coast and around 7 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Friday, the weather will be mostly cloudy at times with medium and high clouds, which gradually subside in the evening. On Saturday the weather will initially be mostly clear with locally increased clouds, but gradually the clouds will increase and in the afternoon isolated rains and an isolated thunderstorm are expected in western areas. On Saturday night, however, the phenomena will gradually generalize with temporary rains in several areas and isolated thunderstorms. Hail is also expected to fall in a storm.
On Sunday, there will be local rains and isolated thunderstorms again, mainly from noon onwards. Hail is also expected to fall in a storm. On Friday and Saturday, thin dust will be suspended in the atmosphere.
The temperature will rise slightly until Saturday, to fluctuate significantly above the average climatic values. On Sunday, however, it will drop significantly, to be close to the average values of the season.
