Around 11.00 pm last Friday (14/11), in an open area, in the area of Pano Polemidia, a motorcycle was found on fire.
Members of the Police and members of the Fire Service went to the scene for examinations and extinguished the fire.
The motorcycle was completely destroyed.
It was found that it was a scooter-type motorcycle, 125 cubic meters, which had been reported as stolen, last Thursday (13/11), by its 59-year-old owner. According to the complaint, the motorcycle was stolen earlier on the same day (Thursday, 13/11), in Limassol.
The Limassol Police Department in collaboration with the Agios Ioannis Police Station are investigating the case.

The Police proceeded yesterday to arrest a 45-year-old man, as part of an investigation into a case of theft of a sum of money amounting to €103,000, and money laundering, offenses that, according to the data under investigation, were committed between June, 2024 and November, 2025, in Limassol.
The case was reported to the Limassol Police Department, on November 6, by a 50-year-old man. According to the complaint, between June and July, 2024, the 50-year-old and the 45-year-old agreed to work together to buy apartments, and as part of their agreement, the 50-year-old gave the 45-year-old the sum of €103,000.
After the 45-year-old failed to proceed with the processes they had agreed upon, the 50-year-old asked for the return of his money. According to the 50-year-old's complaint under investigation, the 45-year-old made various excuses to delay the return of the money, while since last September, he has stopped communicating with the 50-year-old, having returned to the 50-year-old only the amount of €4,860.
An arrest warrant was issued against the 45-year-old, pursuant to which he was arrested shortly before 2.30 pm yesterday Friday, by members of the Limassol TAE and was taken into custody for the purpose of investigating the case.

Coordinated policing and control operations in all cities and provinces were carried out by the Police during last night. The operations are part of the actions of the Police, for the prevention and suppression of crime. Patrols were carried out in various areas, while vehicles, persons and premises were checked. The members of the Police made five arrests, as well as a number of complaints about traffic accidents and other offenses.
As part of the operations, a total of 389 vehicles and 512 persons were checked, while the members of the Police proceeded to arrest five persons for various offenses.
Specifically, two persons, aged 30 and 40, were arrested in Paphos for illegal possession of a small amount of drugs. A knife was also found in the possession of the 30-year-old, as a result of which he was arrested for the crime of carrying a knife.
In Nicosia, two persons were also arrested. A 33-year-old man was found in possession of a small amount of drugs, as a result of which he was arrested for the crime of illegal possession of drugs, while an 18-year-old was arrested for the crime of illegal entry.
In Limassol, a 35-year-old man was located and arrested, against whom a European Arrest Warrant was pending, issued by Romania, for serving a prison sentence for traffic offenses.
During the traffic checks carried out, a total of 138 complaints emerged for various traffic violations.
At the same time, inspections were carried out in 51 nightclubs, from which a total of 14 complaints emerged, for violations of the Laws governing their operation.
Policing actions, for the prevention and suppression of crime and all forms of delinquency, continue every day, with the aim of increasing the sense of security of citizens.
