Dangerous non-food products, namely a Ford Transit Custom vehicle and Zero Motorcycles motorcycles, were notified during the 43rd week of 2025 on the website of the EU Rapid Alert System (Safety Gate), according to information received from the Consumer Protection Service of the Department of Road Transport.
According to a relevant announcement relayed by the PIO, the products identified are the following:
- Alert No. SR/03607/25: Ford TRANSIT CUSTOM (passenger/freight vehicle), with manufacturing range from 12/07/2025 to 19/07/2025.
- Alert No. SR/03733/25: Zero Motorcycles DS, DSR, DSR/X (motorcycles), with manufacturing range from 04/04/2022 to 24/07/2025.

The Department of Road Transport invites manufacturers, agents, distributors, importers and sellers to inform the Department if they have placed or place the products in question on the Cypriot market, taking the necessary measures for their recall.
Consumers who own these vehicles or motorcycles are also advised to contact the manufacturer or dealer for instructions or replacement of parts and, where necessary, to stop using them immediately.
In case of non-compliance by the seller or importer, consumers can submit a complaint to the Consumer Protection Service through www.consumer.gov.cy website.
