The Independent Authority for the Investigation of Allegations and Complaints against the Police (IAPR) is proceeding with an investigation to determine whether criminal and/or disciplinary offenses were committed by members of the Police, following complaints submitted by citizens, regarding the incidents that took place during the protest outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on October 02, 2025.
AADIPA announced that it has received a number of complaints in relation to the incidents on 02/10/2025 and that it has decided to proceed with a criminal/disciplinary investigation. To this end, after obtaining the consent of the Attorney General of the Republic as provided for by the Legislation, the Authority will appoint two criminal investigators to investigate the allegations submitted.
