The Limassol Municipality has announced new regulatory measures in traffic traffic, which come into force from October 29, 2025, as part of Phase A of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) which includes bus lanes and bicycle lanes.
The measures were approved with the consent of the Chief of the Cyprus Police and in accordance with the Limassol Municipal Regulations 2006.
Main settings:
- One-way street of Emmanuel Roidi Street, from the junction with Griva Digeni Street to Agias Zonis Street, with the permitted direction from Griva Digeni to Agias Zonis.
- One-way street of Theklas Lysioti and Evagora Papachristoforou streets, from the junction with Agias Zonis Street to Griva Digeni Street, with a permitted direction from Agias Zonis to Griva Digeni.
On all the above-mentioned roads, the speed limit is reduced to 30 km/h.
The Limassol Municipality reminds that violators of the regulations are subject to sanctions, as provided for in the Municipalities Law and the Limassol Municipal Regulations 2006.
