There will be a new Nikolaidio Gymnasium of Paphos and a new Seventh Primary School of Paphos. This is the clear message I received from the Government and all the competent bodies, such as the Ministry of Education and its Technical Services, with whom I came into immediate contact, after the suspension of the urban planning approval for the implementation of the project.
This is stated by the deputy chairman of the Parliament's Education Committee, Paphos MP Chrysanthos Savvidis. Despite the temporary delays and the adversities that have arisen, I was assured that the creation of the two new school units in Paphos will proceed normally, he pointed out. Reinforcing this position, after all, is the personal assurance of President Christodoulidis himself during the recent pan-provincial gathering in Paphos who spoke about the construction of the specific schools.
I will continue to closely monitor the issue and intervene where necessary, until the completion of the project that our children, parents and teachers are entitled to, concluded Mr. Savvidis.
