Apart from the major projects and important interventions that have been made in recent years, the local authority does not rest on its laurels.
On the contrary, there is a continuous effort to further improve the image of perhaps the most important area for Paphos tourism, the coastal front. According to the chairman of the Paphos Municipality's Beach Committee, Euclid Ambrosiadis, the planning for the upgrade of the infrastructure in the municipal bathrooms and the port, sanitary areas, and some other small interventions on the coastal pedestrian street is in progress.
Works are also expected to be carried out on the "bridge of lovers" on the coastal pedestrian street, a point that has attracted a lot of traffic in recent years.
