A new fire is underway between the communities of Goudi - Chrysochous, in the province of Paphos with a call time of 10:53 a.m. Fire trucks from the Fire Stations of the Paphos district are operating, with the support of the Department of Forests and the District Administration.

The ground forces are supported by four aerial firefighting means with water drops. Wild vegetation and dry grasses, covering an area of about four hectares, are burning.

At 10:36 a.m. in the area of "Vatouthkia" next to the community of Koili, which was brought under control at 11:10 and burned half a dozen hectares of dry grass and wild vegetation. Two fire trucks and a Portable Firefighting Unit from the Rural Fire Stations of the Paphos district worked.

At 11:11 a fire in a small pile of pruning and dry grass in Konia, Paphos district, has been brought under control.
