On Tuesday and Wednesday, according to information, the equipment of the mobile desalination unit will be transferred to Potima. The plant will have a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters of water and is expected to be operational by October at the latest.
At the same time, by the end of July, the contractor has committed to operate two small mobile units, with a capacity of two thousand cubic meters of water per day. The competent government departments are working on the creation of the necessary infrastructure, an electricity network and water pipes that will channel the water that will be produced to cover mainly the water supply of the low Pegeia area.
