The President and the Executive Committee of the CCCI and members of the Board of Directors of the Pancyprian Association of Land Development and Building Entrepreneurs met on Thursday, July 10, 2025, with the President of the Paphos EOA, Mr. Charalambos Pittokopitis, and the acting Director of Urban Planning Licensing, Mr. Iraklis Achniotis.
The purpose of the meeting was to convey to the Organization the great concern of professionals and entrepreneurs, for the long delays observed in the processing of the various Licensing applications, as well as problems that arise due to different interpretations of various circulars and regulations.
The EDA acknowledges that there are several problems and has informed about the exact number of accumulated applications.
According to Mr. Pittokopitis, the staffing is expected to be completed in September, at the same time the Organization will proceed with the purchase of services, which will improve the existing situation.
The CCCI will once again address the President of the Republic and the Minister of the Interior, with proposals that will contribute positively to the smoother conduct of the Organization's work.
