In the context of enhancing road safety during the summer period, the Police is implementing intensified policing actions, from June 1st to September 30th, with an emphasis on vulnerable road users.
Specifically, increased roadside checks will be carried out, focusing on motorcycle and moped drivers, users of personal mobility devices (such as electric scooters), as well as cyclists.
At the same time, during the same period, public information and awareness-raising actions will be implemented, with the aim of raising the awareness of all road users on road safety and road collision prevention issues.
The Police calls on all drivers and road users to comply with the traffic code and to demonstrate due responsibility during their travels, thus actively contributing to the enhancement of road safety.
