A literally unprecedented spectacle was seen for a long time on Saturday night by residents of Paphos in many areas of the province. Dozens of unknown bright objects turned night into day, appearing in the sky from the east and disappearing shortly afterwards from the horizon.
Given the military operations over Israel, many have combined these objects with the missile attacks launched by Iran against our neighbouring country, however, the proximity of the objects to the sky of Paphos has caused intense reflection on what they are really about.
As is clear in the video recorded by Filenews from the area of Tala-Tremithoussa, the concern is evident to the citizens who watch the spectacle, wondering what is happening.
Update - in-cyprus
The fourth barrage of Iranian retaliation missiles towards Cyprus was once again clearly visible last night from many areas of the island, but mostly coastal regions.
According to a number of other reports, these were not ballistic missiles, but British decoys from Akrotiri launched to protect aircrafts.
