UK Prime Minister Kirk Starmer has announced a strengthening of the British Air Force's presence in the wider Middle East region.
As noted, London's purpose is the maximum readiness to defend British interests in the event of an escalation of the situation and conflict between Israel and Iran.
Starmer declined to answer whether London and Washington could be involved in defending Israel in the future.
According to British reports, the UK's presence in the region will be strengthened with Typhoon aircraft as well as military air-to-air refuelling planes.
