PAPHOS - CYPRUS - UNLEASH YOUR SENSES DIGITAL CAMPAIGN
Excellent results of the digital campaign to promote the Destination “Paphos”. Within the framework of the efforts to further develop the tourism industry of the Paphos district “Destination “Paphos”, hoteliers in the region, ETAP, PA.SY.XE, Hermes Airports and the Hellenic Bank continue until October 2025 the targeted digital advertising campaign in various countries-sources of tourism, amounting to over €175,000.
Based on the successful effort of the last five years, the tourism bodies are repeating the digital advertising campaign which aims primarily to increase the recognition of the destination, to attract higher quality visitors as well as visitors who have easy or satisfactory air access to Cyprus and particularly to Paphos.
The campaign runs in 12 countries with particular emphasis on the important markets of the UK, Germany, Austria, Poland and France, while using specialized algorithmic technology, the campaign targets a predefined range of potential visitors who show an active online interest in travelling to our destination or competing destinations. At the same time, in addition to Sojern, the world's leading travel marketing platform, the innovative platform Exitbee, ideal for creating an impression on the user and increasing website traffic, as well as the Channel factory platform, specialized in YouTube, Facebook & Instagram campaigns.
From February, when the campaign began ,until the first phase of the effort on May 31, 2025, 11.2 million advertisements from approximately 100 creative applications (videos & banners) have been distributed across the various communication channels, reaching more than 5 million unique users, 2 million total views of our videos have been achieved and the targets (KPIs) set for each communication channel have been exceeded. All those involved are particularly pleased to note that this year the campaign is achieving its goals, which are, among others, to contribute to increasing the awareness of the destination, to upgrading the online presence of the Paphos district in the global tourism arena and to increasing the arrivals of mainly individual visitors from the targeted countries.
