On the subject of promoting the works of the second and final phase of the implementation of the project of unification of the archaeological excavations in the city center into a single archaeological site, the Director of the Department of Antiquities Dr. Giorgos Georgiou, had a meeting a few days ago with the Mayor of Polis Chrysochous on the promotion of the works of the second and final phase of the implementation of the project for the unification of the archaeological excavations in the city center into a single archaeological site.
According to a relevant announcement by the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous, the meeting discussed and agreed with the Mayor of Polis Chrysochous, Mr. Giotis Hadjichristofis, the timetables and procedures for the implementation of the last phase of the project.
The meeting was attended by teams of officials from the Department and the Municipality.
The Director, the announcement adds, thanked the Mayor for the support and cooperation of the Municipality with the Department of Antiquities, as well as his decisive contribution to the maturation of this project.
