The Paphos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company, in collaboration with hoteliers, Hermes airports and Hellenic Bank and with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, has a digital campaign underway in various countries.
According to a relevant announcement, this campaign began in mid-February and until the end of April it is being carried out with particular intensity due to the booking period. It is expected to continue throughout the season and be completed around the end of November 2025.
Target markets are existing or emerging markets such as those of the UK, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Israel and others.
For more effective targeting, short-term videos and new banners have been created that present the destination "Paphos" with the ultimate goal of upgrading the awareness of the destination and the online presence of the Paphos district and increasing traffic.
Through this digital campaign, TAP Paphos targets a specific audience with a predefined profile taking into account a number of competing destinations, while the targeting focuses on potential travelers with an active interest in traveling.
The campaign to date has been very successful and exceeds its objectives.
Indicatively, more than 5 million advertising messages have already been distributed on the various communication channels and more than 2.5 million unique potential visitors from strategic markets have been the recipients of the messages of the online campaign. At the same time, more than 1.2 million completed views of the advertising videos have been achieved and the goals (KPIs) in all communication channels have been exceeded.
TAP notes that this campaign contributes significantly to the promotion of the destination while at the same time supporting the efforts of mainly hoteliers for further development of tourism in the province, the announcement concludes.
