The construction of a metal canopy to fully cover the area of the Popular Neighborhood in the historic shopping center of Paphos has been completed. The shelters cover Bank of Cyprus, Agoras, Nikolaidi, Miaouli streets and part of Kyriakou Mavrou streets.
Dozens of shopkeepers who have been exposed to the weather conditions until now are active in this area. With this project, the Municipality of Paphos aims to enhance the commerciality of the area throughout the year, both in the summer and winter months, creating a more attractive environment for businesses, attracting more visitors and improving the quality of life of the residents of the area.
Tomorrow Saturday, the contractor is organizing a festive event in the area on the occasion of the completion of the project.
