The phenomenon, which has become a headache for the Municipality of Hierokipia, confirms the impossibility of a definitive solution to the problem, despite occasional assurances.
It is recalled that just last December, the Municipality of Hierokipia announced its decision to proceed with legal measures against the Paphos District Government Organization and the Joint Venture for the Operation and Maintenance of the Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant , due to repeated flooding of the sewage system in the area.
