The facilities and infrastructure of EBOS, ECLIPTIC DEFENCE & SPACE, CYRIC and CELLOCK were visited on Friday by the Minister of Defence Vasilis Palmas. According to an announcement by the Ministry, during the visits, which took place within the framework of the decisions of the President of the Republic and the Ministry of Defence for the support and development of the domestic defence industry, Mr. Palmas was informed about the specialized know-how they provide, as well as technological innovations, production capabilities and the challenges they face.
It is added that the Ministry of Defence, "in the context of the Government's flagship action for the Institutionalization of Industrial Cooperation, seeks to strengthen the sector in practice, aiming, inter alia, at achieving self-sufficiency and establishing the Republic of Cyprus as a reliable actor in the production chain of defence systems in Europe".
The Defense Minister's visits to companies of the domestic defense industry will continue in the coming days.
