February marks the return of the Peloponnesian winemakers to Cyprus with the annual Peloponnese Wine Festival. Wine professionals and lovers are invited to join this highly-anticipated annual event in Limassol and get to know more about Greece’s largest vineyard region.

28 prominent wineries from the Peloponnese will be hosted this year at theCarob Mill Restaurants on February 17transforming the venue into a festive celebration of exceptional wines. Visitors will have the chance to delve into the terroir, diversity and uniqueness of this innovative wine-producing region.

This year’s festival will feature over 200 labels, highlighting renowned native grape varieties such as Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, Roditis and Mavrodaphne, which have brought global acclaim to Greek wines. Rising stars like Assyrtiko and experimental creations will also be on display, offering attendees an exciting portfolio of classic and avant-garde wines.Cyprus, a key market for Greek wines, will welcome producers eager to connect with local representatives and visitors, sharing their expertise and vision. Several wineries will also seek new collaborations within the Cypriot market.

The event also includes Peloponnese 2040, a special tasting session spotlighting sustainability and innovation. Topics such as climate-resilient varieties, advanced clones, mountainous viticulture and modern farming techniques will illustrate the producers’ strategies for a sustainable wine future. Led by expert sommeliers, this tasting event promises to be an enriching experience.
