The operator of the desalination plant that operated in the coastal area between Kouklia and Mandria that has been destroyed by fire is running two procedures simultaneously.
According to information, his immediate priority is the reopening of the unit, which will take several months, while at the same time he is looking for a mobile unit to install in the area.
Given that the infrastructure has not been destroyed by the fire, once it has been found and transported to Cyprus, the operation of the mobile unit could be achieved in a few weeks from its installation.
