The competent state services are currently proceeding with works to repair the damage caused on the main road of Tremithousa to Tala and Agios Neophytos Monastery.
The subsidence of the road surface at a point of the road, by the primary school of Tremithousa, is treated as a priority, according to the officials, both because the damage to the road surface itself poses risks for those passing through the point, and because this point is busy with traffic, since it is located on the main road leading to Agios Neophytos, but also the main road Paphos-Polis Chrysochous.
During the works, this point has been closed, and now the passage of vehicles to and from the Monastery of Agios Neophytos is done through a bypass through the center of the village Tremithousa, since the part of the central avenue from the height of its junction with Mesogi Avenue and for about one kilometer has been completely closed to traffic.
Authorities have signalled detours through the community for motorists to and from Tala and Agios Neophytos.
