History is repeating itself for yet another year. In some areas where there appear to be significant numbers of game, mainly hares, people who want to be called hunters, have again this year engaged in an unprecedented campaign to decimate hunting dogs of their colleagues.
They systematically place baits with poisons, thus killing the dogs of their colleagues who are currently trying to train their dogs and locate rich habitats. Their aim is very obvious. To prevent other hunters from venturing into these areas in order to have "exclusivity".
Organized hunters collect data and information and plan legal actions to deal with the phenomenon that has been taking alarming proportions in the Pafos district in recent years.
