EXCELLENT RESULTS FROM THE INNOVATIVE DIGITAL CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE 'PAPHOS'
Within the context of efforts to further develop its tourism industry district of Paphos "Destination "Paphos", hoteliers of the area, ETAP, PA.SY.XE, Hermes Airports and Hellenic Bank continue until October 2024 the targeted digital advertising campaign, amounting to more than €195,000, in various tourism source countries.
Based on the successful effort of the last three years, the tourism operators repeat digital advertising campaign which is primarily aimed at increase the awareness of the destination, in attracting better quality visitors as well visitors who have easy or satisfactory air access to Cyprus and especially in Paphos.
The campaign runs in 14 countries with special emphasis on H.B.'s important markets, Germany, Austria, Poland and France, while with the use of specialized algorithmic technology the campaign is aimed at a predetermined range of potential visitors who present active online interest to travel to our destination or competitors destinations.
At the same time, in the promotion tools, apart from Sojern, the world's leading platform travel marketing, the innovative platform of Exitbee is used, which is ideal for creating an impression on the user and increasing traffic on the website, and the specialist in campaigns on YouTube, Facebook & Instagram, Channel factory platform.
From February, when the campaign started, until the end of September they have been divided into various communication channels; 17 million ads from 52 creatives (videos & banners), reaching over 6.5 million unique users. 2.3 million have been reached with complete views of our videos and the goals (KPIs) that were set for have been exceeded across every communication channel.
All those involved are very pleased to note that this year the campaign is exceeding its goals which are, among other things, to contribute to increasing its recognition as a destination, in upgrading the online presence of the district of Paphos in the world tourist arena and in increasing the arrivals of mainly individual visitors from target countries.
