 Pafos Live 20 September 2024

Revenues from uses of the Coral Bay beach increased this year by 5-10%, according to Akamas Mayor Marinos Lambrou.

In statements to CNA, Mr. Lambrou said that this year the revenue from the use of sea beds amounted to €410,000 compared to last year when it was €390,000.

Moreover, the revenue from the kiosks amounted to €900,000 this year compared to last year when it was €800,000.

According to him, despite the difficulties occurring in the surrounding area with the war situations, the Local Authority managed to increase the revenue from the cosmopolitan beach of Coral Bay from the uses of the beach, namely the beds and the two kiosks, adding that this year temporary employees were hired on the beach to better serve the public.

Replying to a question, the Mayor of Akamas said that the Local Authority every year tries to do everything it can to upgrade the image of the famous beach of Coral Bay and to offer comfort and cleanliness to bathers.
