A symbolic gesture marks the opening of the student residence of the Pafos Municipality.
Specifically, according to an announcement by the Municipality of Pafos on Monday 23 September at 7.00 p.m., the Mayor of Pafos Phedonos Phedonos and the Rector of the Cyprus University of Technology Professor Panagiotis Zafiris, along with various contributors of the project (scholars – supervisors, officers of the two organizations and others), as well as representatives of the student unions of CUT, American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo and Neapolis University will be guided to the premises of the dormitory. They will prepare dinner and spend the night in the building.
As mentioned, this action aims at the on-site evaluation of the facilities and the assurance of the functionality and quality of the infrastructure, which in a few days will host the first students – tenants of the residence from the academic institutions of the city.
The building of the student residence of the Municipality will be officially handed over to the Municipality next week, when the first students will be installed in it.
