The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for high temperatures. Specifically, the maximum temperature inside is expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius. The warning will be in effect from 12:00 noon today until 16:00.
Seasonal low pressure and hot air mass affect the area.
Today, the weather will generally be mostly clear, while in the early afternoon in the mountains, locally increased clouds are expected to give isolated rain. The winds will blow, initially variable weak 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming mainly southwest to northwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and on the south coast in the afternoon until strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will initially be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 40 degrees in the interior, around 35 in the south, east and north coasts, around 33 on the west coast and around 30 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, although in the west there will be temporarily increased low clouds, while mainly in the southeast, during the dawn hours, locally fog and low clouds will form. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest initially weak to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort and later weak 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 23 degrees in the interior, around 24 degrees on the coast and around 21 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the weather will be mostly clear. The temperature will rise slightly and will fluctuate above the average climatic values.
