After the satisfaction for the new image of Pafos from the ongoing and long-term renovations, the problems that despite the projects continue to be faced by citizens in their daily lives began to fall on the table.
What road users have already pointed out long ago is now on official agendas: the severe narrowness of roads, they are even more limited due to enriching projects such as sidewalks and parking bays, unnecessary traffic lights in many places and several other malfunctions.
Problems at very key points in Pafos, which must be resolved as soon as possible, were submitted in a memorandum to the outgoing Pafos Municipal Council tomorrow for discussion and measures, and the re-elected municipal councillor of EDEK, Filippos Filippou. He raises in particular the traffic problems that arise after the works on the central Kennedy Square and Athinon Avenue, describing the situation as very problematic.
