If you have not yet activated your online account with the HIO and the GHS, it would be very useful for you and the general health system itself to do so as soon as possible.
Amid the turmoil of the creation of the GHS in 2019 and the ignorance that existed at the time as to the procedures and technological tools to be used, thousands of beneficiaries registered through their personal doctors or through relatives and friends.
If you activate your account now, you will most likely see that some of your personal data has been misentered or needs updating.
The most important thing, however, is that if you activate the account (you will need to request a code from your personal doctor) and fill in all the passages, you will be able to receive detailed information about all the services you received from the GHS, the results of tests and analyses, the charges made on your behalf by the service providers and of course you will be able to determine if there is a problem of misleading the system (us all, that is) and to file a complaint with the HIO.
