The civil marriage industry in Paphos, Pegeia and Geroskipou is now working at full speed, confirming based on official data that this sector has definitively returned to the record levels of 2019.
The three municipal authorities are now charging for a 2024 that is considered certain by the officials to be a record year in the industry, since the calendar of reservations has already begun to fill, as officials of the three municipal mansions characteristically stressed.
From the ceremonies held in 2023 in the three municipal authorities, the coffers were filled with significant amounts of money, while this year the financial injection from this activity is expected to be even more evident. The apparent improvement recorded already in 2022, increased in the past year and already bookings and general interest shows that in 2024 in these Municipalities of the Pafos district, the new year will be a milestone for the sector of civil marriages.
The officials express their satisfaction for the launch of the whole activity, pointing out in particular the importance of restoring normality in the sector since it is one of the main financial revenues of municipal authorities. Paphos, Peyia and Geroskipou are traditionally considered among the most popular destinations internationally for civil weddings, due to the great natural landscapes they offer.
