BALLOT PAPERS FOR EUROPEAN AND LOCAL ELECTIONS [Mukhtar only at this stage]

The Registrar General of Elections announces that the sample ballot papers relating to the upcoming elections of June 9, 2024 are posted on the election website at www.elections.gov.cy.   If you are not a Greek speaker and use the auto translation facility on your computer, please be aware that some town and village name translations are inaccurate!

For Tala, you will be voting in the European elections [if you have elected to vote in Cyprus for this], District Self-Government Governor for Paphos, Community elections - for mukhtar and councillors.

So far, the sample ballot papers concerning the elections of Members of the European Parliament, Presidents of District Local Government Organizations, Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Municipal Councillors, Members of School Boards and Community Leaders have been posted. Within the next few days, the sample ballot papers for the elections of Community Council Members are expected to be prepared and posted.

Voters are invited to visit the website to familiarize themselves with the ballot papers in advance, to facilitate the voting process on election day.

It is reminded that voters can be informed about the polling station(s) where they will vote, the elections in which they are entitled to vote, as well as the number of preference crosses in each of them, using the "Where and What to Vote" service.
