RAINY START TO 2024 PREDICTED

Weak high pressure affects the area.

Today the weather will be mostly clear. The winds will blow mainly northeast and gradually in the west northwest, initially weak, 3 Beaufort, and later to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 22 degrees in the interior and on the coast and around 11 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will remain mostly clear. The winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast weak, 2 to 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 8 degrees in the interior, around 10 degrees on the coast and around 4 degrees in the higher mountains.

On Saturday the weather will initially continue to be mostly clear, but gradually there will be increased high clouds. On Sunday, New Year's Eve, increased high clouds will be observed, while locally increased low and average clouds that will appear intermittently, it is not excluded that they will give isolated light rain, mainly in the mountains and in the north.

On Monday, New Year's Day, the weather will be partly cloudy and at times cloudy with medium and high clouds, while it is not excluded that isolated rains may fall locally, especially after noon.

The temperature on Saturday will remain at the same levels but by Monday, it will gradually fall, to be just above the average climatic values for the season.
