PAPHOS GENERAL HOSPITAL - RENOVATIONS UNDERWAY
Work has begun at Paphos General Hospital regarding various renovations, as part of the plan to upgrade general hospitals across the island. Paphos General Hospital is the first to undergo works.
The project includes the expansion and upgrade of the Emergency Department on the ground floor and the obstetrics-gynaecology ward and clinic for pregnant women on the third floor, the addition of a new infectious diseases unit on the ground floor, the addition of new office spaces on the first floor as well as the creation of a paediatric nursing unit on the third floor.
According to the plan, works on the third floor should be completed by July, and the rest of the works by March 2025.
