A Portuguese warplane arrived early Wednesday morning at Larnaka airport about 40 foreign nationals, mostly Portuguese, who expressed a desire to leave Israel.
This is the second flight to take place since yesterday, following the activation of the Special National Plan ESTIA for the reception and repatriation of foreign citizens from Israel, through the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
The passengers of the flight were transferred to facilities of the Republic of Cyprus in Larnaca where they are provided with facilities until their repatriation flight is determined.
Philenews reports that tonight an Austrian warplane is expected to arrive through Pafos airport, which will transport nationals of the country. Traffic at Larnaka airport, meanwhile, is still increased today due to the emergency flights to and from Tel Aviv.
